great, thanks all for the help!
Maybe a stupid question here but I figured I'd ask. If you do a factory reset does it get rid of Z4root and unroot your phone?
Ok, I did a factory reset and when the above picture came up I kept swiping my finger around the screen like it shows... did that about 5 times then thought, hmm, this is not working... what if i tap each of the corners. YEP that worked. lol
Anyway, yes, that skipped every setup. When it loaded completely i went to the phone and hit *228 and hit 1 to get the phone to actual work on VZ. I then turned on Wifi and downloaded each of the apps I wanted.
Went back through all my settings then was good to go.
Google Voice still seems to have issues for some reason. It my be the app and not the phone. 20% of the time when I try sending a text it will just sit there and try to send... it never does. And when it's acting like this, all incoming texts are locked out too.
I have to either restart the phone, or goto Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Google Voice>Force Stop. Then go restart the app.
Ideas on what is going on?
Yes and no, it will get rid of z4root, so make sure have you the .apk on your SD card, and no, factory resets do NOT un-root your phone.
You don't swipe, you "tap" each corner lol. Its ok, I did that my first time too. Glad you figured it out.
And I do not use Google Voice, so I don't know, but it does sound like it might be a server error when trying to send and receive. I guess if the problem persists, search the help at Google Voice or send them an email from the address provided from the Market.
