    Factory reset

If I do a factory reset, do I need to format my sd card. I'm ready to just reset and then go to Darkside 4.2 on a fresh setup.

Factory reset doesn't do much but wipe your user data. If you want a fresh install, just wipe data/cache in clockwork then install the ROM.

I have done the wipe data /cache and reinstalled the rom but I still have a Liberty word come up whenever I boot up and was wondering if this is still there ,then what else might be also still be on the phone from that install, therefore the reason to factory reset.

Those bootscreens just don't want to go away. I had the same issue with every ROM I have used. There is a zip file of the stock "M" bootscreen. I'm sure D-Xer will be posting it for you in a bit.

Also it doesn't hurt when in clockwork to format data and cache instead of just wiping. When in clockwork go to mounts and storage>format data and then format cache.

Load up liberty then to to toolbox. From there you can load up any number of boot animations. The stock m is there. Once you load up the stock m boot logo you can flash to another Rom and see them instead of liberty

Wooops, sorry just saw this. Here's the stock Moto logo carpetman. Just install it in clockwork, no need to wipe anything. http://db.tt/tYf26Qj

You do know that this is a Droid forum, right. You seem to be posting a lot about computers as well as a lot of nonsensical crap.

What does the format do? I've just been wiping. Thanks!
