    Wireless tether to desktop, am I missing something

    I can wireless tether to my laptop just fine but I'm having trouble setting up the desktop for wireless tethering. I'm trying to use an airlink 101. Anyone have any suggestions. It says that I am connected but I can't get the net to work. Using vista by the way.

    I tried 2 different usb cards and never could get it to work with vista..

    Funny thing is it just started working. i have no idea why. Now to figure it out and go for some repeatability.

    It did not like my mbr1000 router being hooked up. Un hook and away we go. Now what would be great is if I could make it work through this 250 dollar paper weight of a router.
