    Yes and no to be honest. Mine is rooted but the one for my girlfriend isn't. She managed to fubar the phone pretty bad without root, with root im sure shed make it a paperwieght

    I am rooted, rom'ed, overclocked, de-odexed, themed, and just all around customized to the hilt (just like my cars).
    That being said, our rooting rights are in danger. Please visit the thread I just started to find out more...

    New to the forum, curious if anyone could tell me how to root my droid x that unfortunately contains the most current OS... Unable to find root downloads, etc....

    Thanks for replying, i've downloaded the zip file and reviewed the tutorial. However, this is all very new to me. I'm running 2.3.3/ 4.5.605.MB810... With that said i'm not sure if this is the "froyo" or not, any advice?
