get 3rd party iphone earbuds working on droid x?

Motorola ROKR S9 bluetooth stereo headset. I got one off of ebay about 8 months ago for $40. You can stream music (including Slacker) to your phone and it will pause music for calls. Volume up/down controls, pause, skip, and answer calls all from the headset. Great for working out. I never lose connection.

Is there anyway to get these 3rd party iphone earphones for phone calls(plantronics backbeat 216) working with my droid x? They are very nice ear phones and i'd hate to return them but the volume buttons on the mic act as the pause and play buttons and I can't pick up calls using the mic.

Is there some sort of app I can download to make it work?

If not can someone suggest to me good noise isolating earphones with mic for about $40 or less?
