Social Networking Widget

I am noticing that sometimes my Social Networking widget doesn't seem to update itself when it's empty. I havn't paid all that much attention to it, so I don't have all the details - but this morning I noticed that it hadn't updated since last night. All the notifications in it were old - and people HAD posted new things. There doesn't seem to be a way to change the update interval or even force a manual update.

This isn't that big of a deal, but I like to get rid of even minor annoyances. Anyone have any suggestions?

Do you have your Battery Profile set to Smart? One thing about that, is that it will change intervals for polling for widgets, polling for email, etc to optimize battery life. For example, it figures you don't need 5 minute updates overnight, so it polls less. That might be why it isn't always polling quickly.

When I want to "choose contacts" whom I want to see in the widget (check their names, click Done, etc.) - it doesn't always save the chosen contacts. Anyone know what's up?
