    Email Delivery Settings

In the Email Settings, under Email Delivery, I do not have the Data Push option selected. My Fetch Schedule is every 15 minutes. What changes if I turn on Data Push?

Then, instead of your X checking for email every 15 mins., you will get the mail delivered to you instantly (or within a few seconds of it hitting your mailbox on the ISP).

Cool. Just keep in mind that the push services will drain your battery faster.

How do you get to e-mail settings? My new e-mails do not pop up in the notification bar when I get new ones and I would like them to.

    Please help.

How much do you think this effects battery life? I liked how my Blackberry got e-mails instantaneously, but I'm already noticing huge battery drains on the X, and I'm thinking it might be from the push.

I've been on push since last night and really haven't noticed much of a difference with the battery draining.

Firehazard, Go to the Messaging Icon and choose one of your non Gmail email accounts. Then press the menu button and choose Settings. That's where the Push option is as well as your notification choices.

    Email delivery

I have turned on the "data push" and 15 minute fetch schedule. The emails are not coming automatically. Am I doing something wrong?

Agreed. I have tried data push and also the 15 minute option. Sometimes it works, other times I need to refresh manually. Don't know why...
