Will VZW replace my phone if there is a massive soft spot on my screen?

The extended battery puts so much pressure on the display, and yes I use the cover that works with the battery haha. But I don't have a warranty but I feel like my phone's LCD is gonna snap because of all the pressure and I wouldnt be surprised if it did. But if I show them, would I have a chance of maybe a replacement? (Even for a phone of lesser value)

Possibly - your best bet is to just stop by the store and ask. They will no more than say "nope" but I bet they will help you resolve it...

The door that comes with the ext battery is suppose to fit just right and thus should have no ill effects on the phone.
Just like having a reg. battery with the reg door. I've only heard people that use the reg door with the ext battery have this issue.
If you did infact use the ext. battery door that came with with the ext. battery then any damage to your phone shiould be covered then right?
Did you purchase the ext. battery and door from VZW? I've never had problems with getting replacements in the past from big red.
Just take it in and see what they say

I've been using the one that came with the extended battery. The door also oddly seems to be very loose and moves around a lot. Yeah, I bought he battery/door from VZW. Seeing your luck, I really hope I can get some sort of replacement, even if its a different phone... You can see the pressure that's put on the screen if you try to take off the battery cover. That pressure seems to always be there for me, never disappears. Thanks for the help!

no problem, but I wouldnt settle for a lesser phone. Don't mention that either. They'll most likely give you a replacement DX
