put an emulator on my phone
connected to my pc, and it shows up as a cd rom drive with driver installation files...
installed the driver files..
now what, where do i put the files? the phone still shows up as a cdrom

Have you downloaded the correct Motorola drivers for your device? There is a PC charging driver and a USB driver.
im pretty sure that is what i installed once i connected the phone for the first time... mmm
edit: i uninstalled whatever i installed the first time that was on the phone and installed these.. will see what happens

You can choose the USB mode fairly simply. Open the notification bar when you are connected to the PC. Hit the USB Connection Notification, it will bring up a window with 4 choices. PC Mode or Mass Storage mode will work. I just copied the ROM's to a directory in my download folder called, "ROMS". Then just point the emulator to the rom folder and you should be gtg.
