Psx4droid save data help

Okay, I have been researching all night and have had no luck. I have been playing Final Fantasy VII alot the past couple days and as I got to Cosmo Canyon and saved the next time I went to load that save data it was just a black screen. It just sits there, I have left it on the screen for atleast 30 minutes just see if it needed some time or whatnot but to no avail. I have found a site which has a ton of save points within the game. However these save points are for the ePSXe emulator which I believe is for a PC. I have downloaded several memory converters (PakkISO and PSXMemtool) neither have worked. I cannot figure out how to get these saves into a .ss format. In the folder containing my saves they are .ss0 though like .ss5 from me trying different methods. Please if anyone can help me figure out how to get back my saved game or get a downloadable one to work that would be fantastic. I have a DroidX, using the psx4droid emulator. I also save using the emulator itself not the ingame save spots.
