I actually emailed the development team and got a response so i thought id share
I emailed asking about the rumors of them cutting out android



Hi Zachary That was a nasty rumor indeed. The android version is still very much alive and will be released at the same time as the iPhone/iPad versions. EA will only publish the iPhone/iPad versions and Polarbit will publish the Android(and other) version. I can't give you an exact date but it should be within a few weeks.

Wish it was for Android, but maybe we aren't far off?
