Bypass Android Activation Screen on Motorola Droid X

To by pass activation on the Motorola Droid X:



Press the 4 corners of the screen in a clock wise direction starting with the top left corner. Your device should then jump straight to the home screen!

You can either just go into the Dialer and dial *228 or if you wanna run the whole thing over you can hard reset it and the android will come up again when you power it on.

Darn I needed this a few weeks ago when i got my phone. I couldn't activate it for 8 hrs and I wanted to bypass that screen to check out the phone Oh well glad to know there was a way.

You can't use the market without signing in, so keep z4 and bootstrap apk's on your sd card to install them. This way if you sbf back to froyo to either upgrade to gb, or to load a different rom, you can do it much quicker by not having to wait for google to sync.
