Bypass Android Activation Screen on Motorola Droid X

this worked perfect!
i upgrade from my X to a Rezound and am now just playing with roms over wifi. Has to sbf after a boot loop and was really hoping that i wasnt going to have to reactivate it with my plan, then switch it back to the rezound to get past that page.

Hey all,
attempted the 4 corner technique on a Verizon droid x (the original one not the second edition).
I get past the initial call in verification where it goes directly to Verizon calling to register the phone and activate the device, to a secondary screen with a language selection tab.
After selecting English, the phone goes to a dialer pad but no further.
Any suggestions

Are you trying the 4 corners before touching the android in the middle?

start the phone
black android screen come up
tough top left , top right bottom right then bottom left
phone goes to the emergency dialer page
when I try some of the ## numbers listed on different threads I get the operator from verizon asking if I want to activate my phone . . .
it will go to a new welcome to droid page with the options to pick a languageor make an emergency call but that is as far as it goes

Touch the corners on the first screen. Don't go past the little green android guy.
This is before verification.

If it doesn't work, keep trying. It took me 6 times to get the right spots.

I can select a language once I get past the 4 corners but then it keeps going straight to the emergency dialer page and no further. .
back button takes me back to the main single andgoid guy screen . .
tried to restart each time to ahve a fresh screen with no past entries but to no avail

My only guess is that you are accidentally hitting the two buttons at the bottom.
