    Just pull the battery and turn it back on and you should be fine.

    I think it's a bigger issue than that. I'm in the Raleigh-Durham area of NC and my X is also in "white 3G" (3G & bars are white, not blue). Reboot hasn't helped, taking battery out for 30 minutes and restoring it, no luck. Is there a system outage page for VZW?

    As for your problem, that was the best suggestion off the top of my head. Someone will have better ideas for you soon, I'm sure. Hang in there. It'll get fixed.
