No no no its talking about using the 2.2.1 sbf. That will brick your phone because the bootloader version was change. The 2.3.5 sbf is out. (So from what I see is that you can flash and use that sbf and be good to go.)

No no no its talking about using the 2.2.1 sbf. That will brick your phone because the bootloader version was change. The 2.3.5 sbf is out. (So from what I see is that you can flash and use that sbf and be good to go.)

Man, I know I'm wearing you out. But I hope I'm minimizing future problems by doing my homework first.
So, can you give me a list of files with links I would need to start flashing roms?
I would assume I'd need the 2.3.5 sbf. I'm still not 100% clear which version of MIUI I should flash (1.12.9 or the latest 1.12.30).
I guess a list of what files I'd need to flash the roms, and a 2nd list of files I would need to restore it back to what I have now.

however i cannot verify that it wont brick your phone.

i found a youtube video that should explain how to flash it, im watching it now to make sure itll be okay. hopefully someone else will verify that it wont brick your phone.
Okay this seems good.
Start watching at 2:40 since its flashing an older version of MIUI you dont need that other stuff. Also when it says 1.9.16 ignore it becuase its an earlier version.
