This is fine, but is this just a one time import? Does the sync work everytime a change is made on either the phone or in iCal?

I had TERRIBLE experience a few years ago with "missing sync". Double contacts, calendar events, and sometimes triple. Lost contacts. Even total crash of my system.
And forgot their tech support. It doesn't exist. And when you pay for the premium support, they just took the money and offered nothing better. Has this improved?
Does it work flawlessly for the droid platform? They offer no free trial either.

Free App, called SyncMate is far less complicated, syncs address book and calendar with google and it's a fee app. And it worked the first time.

Well, I downloaded and used the SyncMate, and it was easy and worked, in that in synced my address book and iCal with Google. That is all I need. It was free. They have an upgrade option, that costs but I haven't checked it out. The version I got was free.

FYI, I use a program called SpanningSync to sync iCal with Google. Works great.

Now my iCal and Google calendars (5 in all) are updated in real time on my Droid X, iMac and MacBook Pro laptop.

I used the trial version for 14 days, they received a coupon to get the full version for $20. Money well spent in my opinion.

    Tks.
    Regards,

    Bill
