    If your on android 2.2 stock, you on can download the app z4root online and then drag it onto your phone from the computer then go into your sd card, install it, then click permanent root in the app, and if it gets stuck, pull your battery and try again, took me a few trys.

    There are many apps, I would recommend doing some research on google or something, there's many apps I don't even know about, but the main ones I use are DROID overclock, titanium backup, a boot logo changer, and dx bootstrap (let's you flash custom roms) but like I said, there's many more

    I've heard of [mod edit for content] I wouldn't recommend it, the devs of these apps work their buts off to make us happy, and I don't see it right pirating there apps, but that's my view, and never heard of the other one.

    Pirated apps don't work like the real ones anyways. They can cause a ship-ton of problems.
