What is Moto Helper?

When I connect my DX to my 'puter, a dialog box opens asking me if I want to instal Moto Helper.

What IS this? (So I can figure out if I want it)

Also, if I DO want it, is there a way to have it install to my "D" drive instead of the default C?

Moto Helper is basically a Motorola program that guides you through the basics of your phone. I believe it can also update/install the required drivers if you need them. I do not know if you can change the install location, but going off of experience it should give you the option before you choose to install it. IMO it's not worth it, but that's just me. GL

Yeah it's really nothing to call home about. It's good for learning some things about the phone/Moto..........kind of.

Motohelp has just begun to get in my way. I've always been able to access my Droid from a Drive, but lately ever time I try to access the files on my Droid Motohelp jumps in. I uninstalled if from my computer; but maybe it's on my Droid because it just won't go away. I even gave into it and ran the two EXE files but it just sits there! What is it supposed to do anyway and why can't I get rid of it so I can see the Droid drive?

Right click on the moto icon in your taskbar, and pick aettings. From there you can turn off launching it every time you plug in your phone
