Dolphin HD Searching

I've been suing Dolphon for some time, but when I'm trying to do a search I get one word typed and the screen snaps down for some stupid reason. It's driving me mad, so much that I've tried other browsers but I do not like them compared to how good Dolphin works.
Am I missing a setting or something? I just want to type more than one word into a search window without Dolphin screwing it up.

What do you mean by snaps down? On occasion the space bar reduce by half the size and the enter button is beside it. Silly question but are you hitting the space bar after you one word or mistakingly hitting the enter button which would move the cursor...

Probably a keyboard issue as opposed to a dolphin issue. Try a different keyboard and see if that changes anything.

Ok, now that I've uninstalled everything, rebooted and reinstalled everything seems to be ok. I would be swiping a word and when I would lift my finger to go to the next word the screen would jump down and the on screen keyboard would go away. It doesn't seem to be doing that anymore - I dunno...

It did this on the stock DX2 and the Eclipse rom I'm running currently-

Try clearing data on the keyboard app and clearing cache on Dolphin.

If you've restored Dolphin from a backup at all it's likely conflicting data within the app. Clearing data or just restoring the app, not the data may solve the problem.

Is there a way to turn the side scroll bars off? For example when you swipe right it opens the bookmarks.

Yes open your Dolphin browser> press hardkey menu button > more> settings > dolphin settings> then uncheck enable swipe action.
