Widget Locker

This allows you to use a new lock screen, specifically it's a lock screen with extra buttons AND you can attach widgets to the lock screen.

So when I turn on my phone I see this:


Pretty sweet, Fancy Widget and Pandora are right there.
The 4 slides do the following:

Top Left: Quick Camera
Top Right: Brightness
Lower Left: Unlock
Lower Right: Cycle Sound Settings

too crowded!! I like my phone like i like my Honda..... clean....not ricered up with a bunch of junk and stickers!! oh yeah.......... and fast!!!

It is crowded, but that's mostly because fancy widget and pandora take up a lot of space. Pandora controls with the lock screen is NICE though as I frequently thumb up or down songs. To each their own. You don't need widgets on the screen, but the quick camera from the lock screen and the sound controls are nice too.

How in the world do I delete the camera slider and the brightness slider, all I wanted was to add my beautiful widgets weather and clock to my lock screen. I don't want these other sliders.

[EDIT] I figured it out, you have to long press the white text in between the sliders, I have mine set up with the Ifone slider and then my pattern locker.

because this is soo much cooler!!! well i still like to use the pin lock (5min timeout) and it still works with this screen

and instead of the brightness/camera scroller, I added one that was flashlight/dialer

Yeah I have since switched my top bar to be Dialer/Camera. Absolutely love the flexibility of this app.

I'm new to the forum and just got my Drod X 3 days ago so forgive me if my question is not in the proper format. but, how do I get the nice clock, and weather widget you have on your lock screen. Is that part of the Widget locker app also?

I don't believe so. You need to download the app from android market.
