Wipe and load is the only true way of getting back to a secure level. If running a good A/V app and scanning with Malwarebytes shows nothing then I would be thinking Root Kit.
Try one of the root kit scanners and/or an online scan. I think Sophos has a tool, can't pull up my bookmarks on here to remember the one I like best.

I bought Norton Internet Security 3 years ago when I was hacked and have never looked back! You can usually find it on sale and sometimes 50% off closer to the end of the year. It is the best money I have ever spent. They sell for single PC's, 1 to 3 PC's version or 5+ PC's version. I have 3 PC's in my house and I use it on every single one and haven't had a problem yet!!
I don't know if this helps but I read on Droid Life about how there were 34 malware apps in the Android Market.
Lookout Identifies Another 34 DroidDream Malware Apps in the Android Market - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog
Could you have possibly downloaded any of these apps that are listed?
Lucky boy! Last time when I was tracked by the Spy software . I formated my computer since I couldn't get rid of it. unfortunately, I format it because I'm afraid to copy the keylogger, too.
