So I'm wondering if theres another legit and reliable site with apps?

Hello and welcome to the forums. Lots of nice friendly and smart people here without all the attitude you find in a lot of forums.
You can always use AppBrain Android Market - Download the best Android Apps and Games on the PC which I think is much better than the new Google Market on the PC. Appbrain has an app you can use on your phone and a plug-in for pushing apps right to the phone all done on the PC. You can share your list with friends or the world if you want too.

if its not on the market then its not necessarily safe to use.
theres also a browser version of the market but theyre all showing u the same thing just different ways to search.

Stick with the Market/Appbrain or major companies like Gameloft..

Thanks everyone for the response. I've been using the PC version of Android Market. I find it easier to find what I want.
Will be check out AppBrain... carefully. Gameloft seem to have high quality games but not many selection for Android. :-\
Thanks again.
