So I tried Spark, or rather *Spark as it's actually called. The concept rocks, and functionally it was ok, but I say it still needs development. It's got a ways to go before it's a solid home replacement. I actually think it's got better potential as a full-screen transparant app rather than full home replacement but if they pull it off, it's got serious potential.
    1. performance work needed.
    2. no widgets (unless I just couldn't find out how to do it).. Just one scrollable screen.
    3. Facebook feeds go only to the app and not the actual feed unless there's a setting I missed. Feeds in general need some work I think including the groupon thing.

I gave up rather early on it but hoping and watching.

I guess ADW and LPP are the two biggest because of their level of "finish". LPP remains my fav. It's just way to dang easy and both run well.

Abe, thanks big time for descriptions. Finally installed LP. It's like a new phone. Your clear summary and site reference were a big help.

Last month there was big hullabaloo over people with LP that lost functionality of phone after LP update. Evidentally they did not perform some action they were supposed to do. What do I need to know or look out for to avoid this? Thanks. Holly

Figured this might be the place to add since it's about home replacements.. I finally tried and LOVE modded versions of the current LauncherPro. The mods are solely to the widgets, clear, gingerbread style, etc. I'm running clear now and it's GORGEOUS! Thought I'd share for those that dig LP but are tired of the not-so-transparant sense style widgets and would like something different but can't pull themselves away from Launcherpro. You still support the developer with the paid keycode, but you basically uninstall and reinstall the modded apk AFTER doing a backup of the stock LPP settings to maintain your keycode. Enjoy! He also just added a couple LP "themes" to the current list there. The BLURP theme is pretty slick I think.
    [THEME|MOD] 02.10.11 signals23 LauncherPro Plus 0.8.3.0 widgets **3 NEW THEMES** - xda-developers

I think I've seen a few of these in the screenshots thread here so I'm sure this is no big news to a lot of folks but maybe some.
