I increased the stability buffer but that didnt help at all. I lowered it to 1250 and that was stable enough to run for a few days with no problems, bettery seem to last forever. however after last update, my phone kept rebooting. tried to find settings again but it went back to rebooting after trying to find highest speed and not saving whatever it found. i restored my backup copy with tb and phone went back to no freeze or reboot all day.
edit: how do I find out which version of qc I have? thanks
I'm not really sure what would be causing all that, but the quickest way to fix most problems with any app is to uninstall/reinstall. Then you'll just want to run the calibration again and go from there. If you're having any stability issues unsolved by increasing the stability buffer, try using the balanced profile rather than the high speed one.
Also...
***Version 1.7.0.4 is live***
No major changes. Just a few small things including a new icon and some helper text for scaling min/max.

well all my issues went away with new update. tried the max speed auto finder several times and it worked perfectly. thanks. just a note when you click on load module it always says that 1.4.6 (or whichever the prior one was) is already loaded and ask if you want to load 1.4.7 even if the latest one is already loaded. btw I slapped one of the guys that gave you a bad review, he's a friend of mine. he was oc with milestone, set cpu and oc at same time. not sure how. anyway he'll reinstall and change review.

Son of a b****. How do I always forget to "editor.commit()" LoL. Fixed. 1.7.0.5 live now with literally that one line of code added, which should fix it. Lemme know if it doesn't. Either way, AWESOME! Glad things are working better for you, Semp
Edit: Oh and thanks for slapping your friend for me. That's dedication that I appreciate. Hahaha. Cheers, man.

Gotta say this is one heckova great app. Love it. I have run it in battery saver and balanced mode for the past few days with no issues. My battery life has been very very good in battery saver. It works well un saver mode and in balanced it is highly responsive and still gets good battery life. I' ve had no lag in either mode and no other issues. Great job Paul and thank you. I left you a glowing review.

Hmmm, it calculated my max speed as 920 mhz, even though I know I can run about 1350. Any idea why?

Probably some background processes running messed it up. Just rerun the max speed and profiles portions of the calibration. If that doesn't give you more sensible values, uninstall/reinstall then rerun the calibration in its entirety.
