Anyone aware of any limitation from either PBX or Sipdroid? Made two calls today and both dropped at almost exactly the 1 hour marker. I did some quick googling and seems there may be some service limitations. Anyone know?

You're probably just pushing it trying to make > 1 hour calls. But there could be a per call time limit. Calls to skype are limited to 3 minutes, so it's possible.

Wasn't trying to push it, just wound up on hold with the idiots and they just leave you there, so I was holding. Had thought the call would be a while so I used VOIP rather than minutes. I wasn't aware there was any limit. Since then I found a few posts though so I just wanted to know if anyone else knew. Guess I'll have to keep it on the down low lol.

I know the free pbxes account comes with 2000 minutes/month. This is the first I've heard of a per call limit outside of skype calls. If they both ended pretty much right at an hour, I'd say there's a good likelihood there is a limit in place. You can check the usage in your pbxes account to see exactly how long they were.

Oh on the down low below 59 minutes. Just an expression, don't wanna get hung up on at 59 mins.

I found this on PBX so it looks like there is a 59 minute limit.

I'm so happy I was able to contribute something that could actually be useful to everyone else. I felt like all I have done was take and take from this thread, now a little has been given back, so very little, but a start I guess. I learned allot here too.

One problem for me though, that perhaps someone can make suggestions for:

I tried and tried to make it work to no avail using my long time GV (Orig. Grand Central) #. I couldn't get incoming or outgoing working. I think the problem is that when I originally signed up for this GC account I used a Hotmail account, and even though I have since added a Gmail account to it (which is now the primary), it still won't work.

Proof being I signed up for another GV account using a fresh Gmail address. Boom. Worked with no problem.

Argh!!!!!!! I really don't want to change my GV number, as everyone has been calling me on my old one for years. I did request that Google change whatever they needed to, about a week ago. Nothing yet.

Using a brand new LG Optimus V.
