Can't send MMS with Handcent

So I took a pic last night, went to text it and the message hung up and never sent. I've checked around and it seems that people have issues sending pics via Handcent.

Is there a fix? I've already checked the box to accept the max size pic which is 5mp. I guess I would have to change my camera to take 5mp pics in order for it to work??

Handcent sends pics just fine for me, although a dialog pops up and asks to resize...I believe you need to have the stock messaging still installed, you don't have to use it, but it needs to be there. I think I remember ppl having probs with this when they disabled the stock app...hope that helps

Idisabled the stock app throug titanium backup so i dont get two notifications. Can i unfreeze it and disable notifications??

yes...unfreeze stock messaging app, then open it, then hit menu hard key, scroll down and uncheck notifications....

you should be all set...holler if you're still having probs

Just unfroze, disabled notifications, set handcent as default app. Working great!! Will messages keep piling up within the stock app since im not using it?? Do i need to erase them or anything??

I have the same set up as you're describing...and I've never even opened my stock messaging app so I'm not sure...I wouldn't even worry about it...Glad you're up and running now!

i just realized i cant send mms from handcent a few days ago. i used to be able to...but ever since i updated the app last week...my pic just hangs there. frustrating. none of my apps are frozen...Handcent is default messaging app

try uninstalling Handcent and reinstalling
