Saw a few posts stating the extended battery works with the Body Glove case. How about with the shell/holster combo?? Anyone try it???

just ordered my battery extender last night, should be here by friday via FexEx....i read on here some cases will still work. I have a silicone case.
I tried the shell/holster with the extended battery and door.
The good news: the shell fits and the combo slides into the holster.
The bad news: the fit is not perfect. Since there's a 1mm 'hump' on the back of the phone now, it pushes the sleeve back a little bit and as a result the sides of the sleeve don't fit over the sides of the phone completely - the front edge of the sleeve is almost flush with the front face of the phone. As a result, the whole combo is wider and sliding it in the holster meets with more resistance, and I noticed that when I slid the phone out of the holster, some of the buttons would inadvertently get pushed by the face of the holster. However, the sleeve still fits tightly and won't fall off the phone.
You can use the extended battery with the gloss silicone cover and that cover fits the holster from the combo perfectly. I find it much easier to remove fun the phone than the shell in the combo.

I use the shell/holster case as well. Disappointed in the fact that its not a good fit, and I haven't seen this combo yet for my X. I hate carrying it in my pocket, I like the belt clip. I'm gonna head to a VZW store and see what they have, if anything.
Ok...I went by a VZW store and looked. Nothing looked good. I got to thinking... I read that the original back works with the extended battery. I tried it and it sure does, I put my original shell on and awesome...back in business!

some people have reported being able to get the original battery door to work with the extended battery.. so no extra bump. You might want to try..although i wasnt able to get mine on.

I did just notice that the original door puts pressure on the screen, so I will have to get something new
