Moto S9-HD BT headphones

I just got these today and I'm hoping I just have a defective set.
I got them paired, the functions all seem to be working fine but..

I literally can't even sit in the same room and keep the connection. I've tried with the phone on my lap, in the dock, on the floor etc. They just constantly drop the signal and it stays out for about 30 seconds and then comes back. Then fades back out.
I took them outside with my phone in my hand and nothing changed.

Does anyone else have these that could chime in?
It's too bad because when the sound does actually come through, they sound pretty amazing.

i used these everyday with my DX and no problems i think you have a defective set

What's weird is that my brother just left and they worked perfectly with his iphone4.
Guess I'll have to call Newegg tomorrow. Grrrr!

More weirdness.
I paired it with my gfs old Env3 and it worked 100% on that.
So I unpaired it and re-paired it with my X and it's working perfect. I even made a phone call with it.
Not sure what the problem is (was).

Went to Best Buy and paid the $100 for them hoping I just had a defective pair from Newegg.
They worked great for the first 20 minutes, then started skipping. So I rebooted them and they did the same thing. Worked for 20 minutes or so then started skipping again.

Is there a setting I'm missing? I really REALLY like the sound that these things produce and would like to keep them but I can't deal with this. Once it starts to skip it will skip every 15-20 seconds and won't stop until I reboot them. I also got my replacement X today and the problem is still there.

When you say no problem, do you get voice calls, and people can hear you? I used to wear my headsets for music using pandora on a moto droid, and now that I have the X it won't speak through it. If i use my Jawbone, it works fine.

I have noticed that when you don't keep them fully charged they do skip the signal.
