So the Bluetooth piece would be would be the male adapter, the truck has the female. it would communicate with my DX over Bluetooth. I know they have them for the newer vehicles, not too sure about a 95 though

Yor Ford has OBD 1 I haven't seen any thing like that for OBD 1. Vehicles before 96 had ODB 1 and vehicles after 96 are OBD 2 . BUT you maybe are lucky enough to have OBD2 plug on your truck cause its a 95 look under the dash on the passenger side.

Obd-ii is a standard. No worries. It will work fine.

Edit: But you might not have obd-ii, like he said. So nevermind.

I will look, because I know some 95 models have one and the others have the other...stupid change over years...

Actually some 95 Ford trucks have both. Been awhile since i worked on that year with that circumstance, but i believe you can only get limited data out of the OBDII connector if its got both.

    Just throwing this out there.

I saw this the other day & considered getting it to have something to play with & extend the functionality of my droid X with my car. But I decided to skip it because I'll be getting an SCT3 flash tuner which will perform the same functions.

Tho, as others have said, you need to make sure you have ODB2.

I actually just got mine two weeks ago. It is pretty sweet. Definitely make sure you have OBDII. I got it off amazon for about 50 bucks. It uses the Torque app in the market. The paid version is just over four bucks and worth it. Just make sure the one you get is compatible with the Torque app or whichever app you decide to use with it.
