Better battery life than what I'm getting on my extended battery with stock, rooted .602. I went to class at 11:30 with 90% (phone disconnected from charger at 7 AM). When I got out of class at 1:30, I was down to 50%.

40% in two hours while in class? that seems a bit high to me, is that an improvement for you? what kind of signal are you getting in the class room?

obviously there are going to be differences between our phones, but based on my usage i expect a 10% drop over 2-3 hours if the signal is good and screen isn't constantly on

conversely, this a random example, almost constant screen on from this morning and wifi running 100%

Horrible. I had a 1x connection on one part of campus but when I was actually in class, I was 3G. I've had it happen before while on campus...unexplained drop in battery life available. Screen is always off (set to 30s time out) when I'm in class and it sits in my holster. Like I said, I only lost 10% between 7 and 11 (keep in mind, extended battery).

Anyone got a link to the latest GAPPs file? Someone earlier stated there was a newer one (assuming newer than the March '11 file).

I've only ever used stock battery, but I've seen other people report issues with 3rd party/extended batteries that aren't 'read' correctly
so that could be something (idk)

guess i can only suggest the usual (calibrate and give it a few cycles to settle in etc)... I've found that if i stay on one build for a few days i get a better idea of where I'm at

I've got that. I was just hoping there was a file I could DL to my PC and flash at the same time as the CM file.

It's a Motorola battery, straight from the VzW store here. /shrug

It's best to flash the gapps file after the phone had booted on cm7 fyi... I don't know why...
