Droid X CM7 Video Playback

Hey guys, this is my first post here on the forums. I'm running Nightly #20 (best one so far in my opinion), I finally got GPS back. I'm just looking to see if anyone else is having problems with video playback? If I go into my gallery and select a video I've taken it will give me an error saying it cannot playback the file. Is this a known issue?

As far as I know thats been an issue wince the first release of CM7. I think there are some workarounds but I'm behind lately and don't really know them. You could try getting a video player from the market and use that to plays videos. Moboplayer is the one I use

Have you installed the Camera/Camcorder fix?
Camera/Camcorder/Torch Fix for CM4DX

also, I believe CM7 has trouble playing videos previously taken. Any videos you take after you install the fix should play back fine

rockplayer should play them... but if you have having problems with old 3g2/3gp videos you can convert them to another format and they should/might play

I have not, but I will try it now.

What about MMS messages that contain video, is that working or not?
