Need some help gettin Verizon Visual Voice Mail to run on CM7

Way back when ... Like When Liberty 1.0 came out Keejar built me a .zip with the Verizon Visual Voice Mail app in it, that I've flash on every ROM I ran with Froyo successfully. It will install and launch in CM7 but fails to download the messages. I was wondering if anyone with more skills than I could get their hands on the GingerBread version and package it as a .zip for me.

    Any help greatly appreciated

This is the last piece I need to keep CM7 and never look back.

I know there are other options for Voice Mail, but I like VVM!

Cory this is GOLDEN. Found a new Verizon Visual Voice Mail app on the Market, installed it on Rubix and it worked. Backed it up with Ti, restored my CM7, did the BuildProp edits from the thread you posted the link to and it works. I'm so stoked. Charging the Battery now I'm headed to Nightly #8 and there will be no going back!

    Thanks, I appreciate the help!

Oh on a side note: It's interesting that while I'm running CM7 the Verizon Visual Voice mail app won't show up in the Market, yet it did from Rubix. Wonder what's up with that ? You'd think they would want anyone who could to get it and pay them for their service

    awesome glad it worked......

the reason I can only speculate why it doesnt show up in the market is that when you are on a rom those were all based off a build that motorola built and verizon okay'd so they have underlying files for the vending apk and how its handled. Now when you get on a AOSP based rom like cyanogen there is no motorola or verizon framework and the gapps (google apps) are then the stock ones you would get straight from El Goog (google) so there fore you dont get the verizon tab in your market and vcast/verizon apps dont show up unless you go and look for it

You can probably use market enabler to view the verizon apps in the market. It allows you to spoof different carriers. That way you can easily get updates.
