Simple issue, but a major pain in the butt until I fix it. I flashed AOKP first, and it worked fine except for the fact that it wouldn't connect to Google's servers in Google Play, so it was a real pain downloading apps. After failing to fix it, I flashed AOKP again and the home button no longer worked. So then, I flashed to a Verizon stock Milestone X rom, and the home button worked fine. Finally, hoping CM9 would fix the problem as well, I flashed to CyanogenMod and am having both of the same problems - the home button doesn't do anything and I still can't connect to google's servers for the play store or for syncing contacts. I'm guessing the server thing is a known issue, and it doesn't impede my use of the phone terribly, so I'll keep it on the backburner. The home button not working, though, is a real pain because I have to hit the back button to get out of any given program, and that may mean a lot of lost work and excessive button presses in programs like the internet browser. Anyone have any suggestions to get the button working again? All of the other physical buttons don't have a problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
