I agree - Camera not working is fine with me for what it gives me. ICS is faster and has a better UI. I have been running it for over a week and no major issues except for minor Wifi re-connection issues. I would not go back to GB after using it.

Kudos to the ROM developer for making it available for DroidX as Motorola will never release it for DroidX.

Stuck in boot loop (rainbow floating panels). I downloaded the beta 3 zip and the gappa zip. I used rom manager to flash the zips from SD card. But when I reboot I'm still stuck in boot loop. I even tried flashing both zips again. Same result. Any recommendations? I recovered back to .605 stock root with ADW ICS Theme, but obviousy not the same. This is my first ROM so looking for a little help. Thanks.

I have been using this rom on my DX for a couple of weeks now. overall i am very happy with it. i am using it with Nova Launcher. very cutting edge for an "older" phone. lol. ... I use my DX as a Droid-pod Touch. lol. wifi device for around the house. I have ad Gnex for my daily driver.

anyway, love the ability to use ICS on my DX to match my familarity with my daily driver Gnex. keep up the good work. are we ever going to get an update for the camera?

Use d2 bootstrap to flash. Wipe all first on your 605. That should get you up and running. I've never used rom manager to flash. See it causing issues for people.

First of all I want to thank the dev(s) who are working on this. ICS is a big upgrade from GB and when I saw all the awesome new features that Android 4.0 brings, I was hoping for some love for the DX.

I flashed this last night, just to try it out, and I loved it. I played around with it for an hour and didn't have any issues except for the noted ones of the camera and voice input. There was one thing that I did experience that may have been a user mistake, but I thought I'd bring it up.

I tried to revert back to GB (just until the camera is fixed). After data/cache wipe, install of previous ROM, and install of Gapps through the CyanogenMod recovery tool, I got stuck on the Red M bootlogo. I booted into recovery again, did another data/cache wipe just in case, and same thing. Eventually I was worried I'd run my battery down too low so I just SBF'd and reinstalled my previous CM74DX-GB rom. I'm up and working now, I was just wondering why I got stuck on the bootlogo. I am careful in CMR to wipe everything before and after I flash just in case.

Again, thanks for your work and for your help!
