Reportedly the update file will wipe data for you, but I took no chances and did my own wipe -data, cache, dalvick cache, and battery stats, then flashed the file. Booted up with no problems. I read on one of the forums that someone successfully restored data from a CM7 nandroid so I tried it and it worked. A little sluggish after the restore but did fix permissions and reapplied my Supercharger zip and its flying again. It's cm7 plus. I really like it so far. Can't tell about battery life yet but I've been on it for @ 90minutes with the screen on the entire time and actively flashing and on the forums and still above 90%. I think it will be much better for me than CM7. Thanks to ChevyNo1Droid.

Hey, Chevy. Are there any settings for the sony launcher? I really like it so far but one thing that bugs me a little (OCD) is that it defaults away from alphabetical app arrangement on a reboot. Can that be changed or no? Either way I'm still going to use it and it's really no big deal. Just wondering.

    Thank you ChevyNo1
First impression is this is a very nice build, like cm7 on steroids. Nicely polished for a "beta", with plenty of built in customizations. You get the ChevyNo1 tools along with the CyanogenMod settings with the CRT-off included, and an easy pulldown text editor.

If you are on cm7 and unsure, this is an easy try and great news. You can bounce between ssx and cm7 (n7 at least) nandroids for a perfect restore of each respective ROM

Not quite as smooth as CM7 but the stock theme is DAMN nice! One of the best I've seen in awhile and I like the Sony launcher app also

Chevy - we are happy to have on the forum!

The ROM seems to be getting some great reviews...it is great to see the choices for the community!
