I bought the Verizon Wireless car charger from the VZW store. It was completely boxed up so I couldn't see just how short the cord was.

I tried stretching out the coiled section but it doesn't really help. Now the micro USB tip is tweeked over and down because it's constantly being pulled on so I can keep the phone within reach.

I have not seen cord length included in specs for other chargers, so does anybody have a car charger that has a nice long cord? At least 18" 24" of straight cord?

My solution to this was to buy several 6' USB to Micro USB's on ebay and since there is an extra USB port on the VZW charger just plug into that and you've got all the length you need. Here's a link to the buyer I bought from: 6 Feet USB 2.0 A to Micro-USB B High Speed Cable M/M - eBay (item 290483842092 end time Nov-03-10 14:30:13 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/6-Feet-USB-2-0-Micro-USB-B-High-Speed-Cable-M-M-/290483842092?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item43a22fac2c)

Cool deal, I just ordered one. 6' should be more than enough. I do already have one of these but it's at home plugged into my computer.

I guess I can use the charger's cable to charge my BT headset.
