Roy Halladay throws the 2nd no hitter in MLB history today and the Phillies look like the team to beat.

The Reds looked pretty bad today, but then again a no-no does that. The Giants are on a high and the Braves look a bit rough around the edges.

On the AL side the Yankees look shaky after Sabathia, same for the Rays after Price, the Rangers look good and the Twins are just solid.

Phillies over the Twins in 6 games.

With the Twins down to the Evil Empire 2-0 looks like my ability to pick ups and downs sucks.....

I'm a Yankees fan, but the Twins are the parent team for my Rochester Red Wings triple A team so I am torn on that series. On the NL side I like the Phillies.

I root for the Twins because my 2 year-old has been turned into a fan by my sister-in-law, but my first allegiance is with the Braves.

And with that said..........HOW 'BOUT THAT COMEBACK LAST NIGHT? Didn't look good at all for a whole game and a half, and then finally they woke up and did something.

+1 for anyone but the Yanks. Would love to see the Rangers win it.

I would love to see the Braves win it again............with Bobby Cox ejected in Game 7, of course. :p

I'll actually be thrilled if we make it to the NLCS, given how our lineup is an assortment of journeymen and no-names. Sucks that Prado couldn't make the playoff roster, but if the numerous role players can step up and contribute a key hit or two (see Ankiel, Rick, October 8th), who knows what could happen?

Looks like the Twins are choking again..... if they do not win today the Yanks get to move on!!! :(

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GIANTS! Playoff appearances come at a premium for the Giants, so it's nice to see a long run! C'mon, no sweep!

Phillies begin dismantling the Giants tomorrow night :D can't wait!

The first game is just a wicked pitching match-up, watch it end up a 13-12 slug-fest with the starters lasting 4 innings
