I bought an android tablet under $100 (https://www.michipel.com/best-tablets-under-100/) when my laptop broke down. That was the last time I used VLC to listen to music. I use Google Play Music for Android to play any music I want. And, I do not think any app on Google Play Store comes any close to what Google has developed.

Anyway, VLC is good. Just not a good enough a music player for mobile or tablets, if you ask.
