Recently did this process yesterday as a new user of an x2.
After doing the SBF, and doing a battery pull, and using the default recovery to wipe the cache and user data I used " DooMLoRD_v4_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su.zip " To install SU to the 2.3.4 Droid x2. Then i installed file manager ( found on play/marketplace store ). Then i copied these three files to the sd card.
#1 "MOTODX2_Bootstrap_signed.apk"
#2 "cm-10-20130113-UNOFFICIAL-daytona.zip"
#3 "gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip"
Once all three files were copied, I used file manager to browse to the APK for the bootstrap. Installed the apk, Opened the program, Installed the boot strap, Plugged the usb cable into a wall charger. Then used the bootstrap program to reboot into recovery.
Once it was rebooted into the not default recovery, I used the installed the cm10 zip, and the gapps zip, wiped the user data and cache, Then did a battery pull. After the battery was back in, cm10 was up and running in just a couple of minutes and hasn't given me any trouble since.
