Ive been reading up on why my battery goes dead sometimes in like 20-30 minutes & I seem to have alot of the symptoms of being hacked. I feel fairly knowledgable on the puter & am learning...quickly I might add about cellphones...
They have locked me outta my 2 yahoo accounts, changed my secret questions as well as the PW & since its a new phone(to me anyway, itsa droid2 motorola) & number I put the wrong number on one acct...I hopefully will be able to log back into FB tomorrow after their 24hr break....everytime I changed my PW there it seems someone in San Diego was also logged on, or maybe that was just their number IDK its really a pain having to chg PW so often & the friggin redirects Im getting not to mention my X knowing things he shouldnt....thats y hes an X right? lol no idea if hes in on it & really dont care just want to fix this quickly
I would like to know of a good protection app I can purchase or I hesitate to say get free after all the reading Ive been doing.
I also am learning about rooting & do want to do that after I take care of this...idiot or maybe they arent as dumb as Im thinking...lol I have already downloaded Super One Click & my drivers etc.
any help appreciated

it's possible the droid x was hacked, have you been installing apps from sites other than play.google.com/store (http://play.google.com/store)?
yahoo accounts get hacked all the time.
Is it possible a PC you use got hacked?

wipe data
do a Hard Reset via Android Recovery (http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=33552#alt)-

if you really want to do it right also reflash a sbf (firmware)
is this on verizon or other network?

Verizon and non version
DX (MB810) ezSBF & Root 2.3.4/4.5.621 (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V_meI1kibcU-yKrRwzhAuGKPEWCS0lOwNDgg2dOJOQw/edit#)

Verizon network only
Using RSD Lite to flash a .SBF to restore (Stock Rom) (https://docs.google.com/document/d/14RwYtaEd-Rcp_2jH0zj7yCpVi4YWqlm4v7r3NNCstTw/edit)

I'm using avast (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.avast.android.mobilesecurity) and have used Lookout (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lookout&feature=search_result)

which system version is on phone? see Menu>settings>about phone>system version
unlikely Super One Click will work try Framaroot APK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5TmP15hfQU&feature=youtu.be)
