ok so a guy at work told me he has a Droid X like mine but a few days b4 he was messing around with it and said now he cant do anything with it , basically it wont even turn on or off until the battery dies. So when it turns on the 1st screen is a Andy ( the droid guy ) with a big triangle and big explanation mark (!). so im was thinking it was bricked it would be a easy fix for me, so i gave him $20 for it. I got home put it in bootloader mode by pressing volume buttons up/down while holding power on ,it worked so far then i put in my froyo flashable cd went thru all that pressed 1 and it started all files said 100% and also said OK next to them . Then i followed the instruc. and pulled battery then held home key and power on key as it booted but this is where it didnt work ( ive had my Droid X for 4 plus yrs and have flashed many rom, changed from froyo to gingerbread 602,605 and back and forth many many times so i know a little bit) . So when it booted from me holding home/power keys it went back to bootloader mode and a few lines down it say ERR,68,70,70,and i think 1F. so i dont know what to do know i dont even know if it on a stock rom or even rooted and the guy didnt even know . so ive tried every other way of turning it on but every time it does come on it goes straight to bootloader mode i think its 30.04. Is X no good anymore or is there hope that it can be fixed . if anyone can please give me some help and advice i would be so happy thanks to all

I'm guessing it was running the .621 update. That can't be rolled back to a previous one. But the good news is it can be fixed. I'm at work now, but someone will be along shortly to aid you.

you already got the process down.. but like fez said.. it's running the .621.. which can't be rolled back.. so all you gotta do is just flash the .621 sbf.. and it should be good to go

USB debugging and unknown sources shouldn't have any thing to do with downloading
but you need a PC or Mac to burn iso to CD or flash drive then boot from that CD/usb
