Hi guys, recently tried to .sbf my DX running a version of AOKPs ICS back to stock GingerBread for a friend, I tried using RSDlite on windows only for it to not work and give me a 'Code Corrupt' error on my bootloader, now I am trying to sbf on Linux but also to no avail, each time I try to sbf the X it gives me a very long list of

"Index[xx]: Unexpected chip xx"

I have tried using all of the available sbf files except .621 because my phone was on 2.3.605 when I originally rooted. Is there a way to overcome this issue? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

What difference would the boot cd make when I am already using Ubuntu as an os? and all the computers besides that outdated macbook are Mac and locked down. Using the correct cable, and the phone is not low on battery.

Why are you running it as root? You shouldn't have to use sudo

everywhere I have seen instructions has said to sudo the commands, and like a potato I forgot to unzip the sbf files, now that that is complete it is giving me this,

mmap: No such device
Usage: sbf_flash <filename>

Going to use a different computer to try the Mac sbf method, but any help would still be awesome.

or could be some kind or bug in your linux system or incompatibly
if that's problem the live cd (http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-sbf/23638-linux-solution-your-windows-rsd-lite-problems.html) may work.

same error here (http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-rescue-squad/41317-deep-doo-doo-2.html)
