My milestoneX is possessed, when i get a text i get it anywhere from 2 to 15 time, the same one.... it also randomly will shut off and come come back on it flickers from screen to screen and the only way to stop that is to take the battery out. now it sometimes will not acknowledge that i am trying to text or make a call, i have to take the battery out for that as well. My warranty has run out, of course I put a insurance claim in but they say i have to pay 150.00 for a new phone. Im wondering if anyone else has had these problems with this phone and if there is anything i might try. It has never been dropped or gotten wet. Any suggestions would be accepted with an open heart and mind. Thank you

moved to milestone x...
and your other thread has been deleted... please do not post multiple threads on the same problem... it just adds clutter to out forum

is your phone rooted or just stock?
you can try wiping the cache partition in recovery that could help clear some of it... but it might require a full data wipe...

to wipe the cache partition... turn the phone off.. press power + home... till a little android dude shows up.. then press both volume buttons to access recovery... then use power button to scroll to wipe cache partition... then use the camera button to select...

I don't know what rooted means so I'm am assuming my phone is stock. I followed your directions to wipe the cache partition, and the phone is still doing all of its shenanigans... how can i do a full data wipe and should i back up my contact list? I do apologize for re-posting, it wont happen again, thank you for your help
