Yup none of those work for .621. Here you go:

There's an older method that works as well but I would argue it's probably harder. I think it looks more difficult than it is and we were all new once. Is there a particular part you think you will have trouble with? And just curious, why are you rooting?

I have rooted phones before and they were all simple. like a few clicks and i was done. But this is a pain. And rooting forvarious reasons like overclock. Is there a more simple way?

not for .621. sorry. What do you think will be your problem? Or do you just not want to hassle with it?

Thats just a lot of instruction. Afraid i'll screw it up. Could i brick it if i mess up? And can i use poweriso instead of burning the cd?

these phones are nigh unbrickable. Just follow the instructions closely and post up if you need help. Doesn't matter what program you use for the .iso. I think the imgburn is just there because it's free and works.

About the only way you'll brick an X is to physically smash it with a brick. Rooting 621 isn't as hard as it sounds.

Agreed. Burn the file to a disk or USB, boot computer from the disk/USB and follow on screen instructions. Done.

I would think it would more closely resemble a pancake at that point:)

I had to use the ISO method to root. You will still need to bootstrap and flash clockwork mod. That is all probably in that link. Just get rslite moto tool and the 621 sbf as backup in case of failure.
