On the forum here there is a whole section called Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs... take a look in there and have your pick.

I perfer miui for its customize features you can change any of it or all very easy without having to flash. So different than most roms and give it a chance to learn how to make it the way you want it. Before I learned I didn't care for it, but now its all I need but thats just my opinion

If you install Miui, give yourself a few days to get use-to the new interface before you pass judgement. I also prefer miui but use Cyanogen most of the time... more updates

If Miui doesn't suit you or just wanna get the latest Google software perks (main reason I've been able to hold off on upgrading) then try aokp v39. I literally am still finding new ways to spice it up- months after install!

Tips- use nova launcher (hold up volume in nova settings for bonus features!)
-install Google Now (mikeys from xda)
-Have fun! The X can hold its own!!

What? That does nothing for me.

My bad.. hold volume down in nova settings to enable labs menu (volume up to disable), which will now be right under 'backup and import'. In there is a bunch of tweaks which you can try & see if it works out. My favorite is widgets in dock allows me to stash Google Ears & Google News widgets away in different dock pages. If your widget doesn't take then resize it smaller & try again weird it will stretch once it docks.

I flashed the Beantowns miui, but didn't get the Gapps file. Do you know where I can get the right version for that rom?
