What system version are you on now? If you are already on 602 or 605 just root it using Pete's.

I'm already rooted on MIUI v.4 on .605.... I want just the stock rom to see if my phones gone bad or if it the roms. I have the same problems on the latest GUmmy and on MIUI v.4

Ok then make a backup of whatever rom you are on and Sbf back to .605. There are two options for you.

1. Go here and download the .605 SBF file https://sites.google.com/site/motosbf/droid-x-sbf-files
2. T (https://sites.google.com/site/motosbf/droid-x-sbf-files)hen use RSD Lite to sbf. Here is a guide for that http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-sbf/12015-complete-droid-x-sbf-flashing-guide.html (ignore the sbf file they are using, everything else should be the same.)\

Or you can download the .605 iso from here http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-sbf/23638-linux-solution-your-windows-rsd-lite-problems.html and burn it to a disc, boot your computer from the disc and sbf that way. It also has a root option built in.

Since I got you here... Is there any reason to upgrade to .621? If there is what is the best way to do it, I'm fine with SBF'ing done it many times or just flashing like a rom. Also if I do upgrade to .621 is there a way to go back to .605 if I want to. I've read a lot about .621 and was off the forums for a few months and am really confused with why .621 is better than .605.

From what i hear the only benefit to .621 is the .15 radio. But you can get that here. http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/gingerbread-development-hacking/45095-15p-flashable-radio.html Once you are on .621 there is no way to revert back to anything except .621 or .604 (which is a milestone sbf used for rooting.) There is also a direct root method for .621 now but the general consensus is to just stay away from it all together.
