I find this very interesting. If you have not looked at virgin mobile take a look. They now offer the iPhone 4S along with some other decent Android phones. Granted you will pay some coin for the iphone but it is offered. They have some nice HTC phones. HTC EVO One 4g lte for $250, not to bad. What is very appealing is the phone plans. No contract, 300 mins talk, unlimited text and data (throttled after 2.5gb) for a whopping $35 a month. If you need more talk they have other plans, still hella cheaper than vzw. If you do auto pay they will take $5 off that price. As much as I like to root and mod my phone this plan has my eye. I can cut my monthly bill in half. Of course I have no idea how the reception will be in my area but hell its worth a try if I want to go this route. Start dropping off lines as the vzw contract comes up. I think I need to but some virgin mobile stock.

Man, that is tempting. I'd hate to lose verizon's cell service (absolute best in my area), but it would be nice to send a big up yours to verizon. If I was by myself I would definitely give it a shot.

I'm with you Jeems. Vzw service is one of the best in my area. Us cellular is right there with them. I'm sure virgin mobile works well in big cities but I'm no where near a big city and would hate to spend much to try it out.

Shows to have coverage for my area. http://www.virginmobileusa.com/check-cell-phone-coverage

Might have to see if I can find a phone cheap enough to see.

Yeah. Buy a Month and see what the coverage is. Definitely with a little research.
