Sorry Screenshots are so small, still trying to learn the best way to post all these pictures. http://media.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Includes:

Latest Changes in the MIUI Rom (Updated to 2.8.10!)
Updated to CM9 Beta!!
MMS Fully works!!!
Everything that works in CM9 Beta should work here.
Likewise everything that is broken in our CM9 Beta is broken here.
Themes work!
Camera works!!!
Added in init.d Scripts

Known Issues:
No Data Usage Monitor.
No Camcorder. (Use the Video Illusions App to gain this back!)
Browser Crashes during a Rotation.
MIUI Home Launcher likes to use A LOT of memory, can become unstable if you love apps. Try using Apex or another ICS Launcher.
Occasionally it will reboot randomly.
Google TTS is broken.

To Install:

You must be on 2.3.4
Boot into BSR (Obviously)
YOU MUST WIPE DATA AND CACHE!!!
Clear Dalvik Cache.
Install the MIUI-2.xx.zip from BSR.
Install the Latest Gapps.
Reboot Phone (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1802469#).
???
Profit.

YOU MUST USE Dragonzkiller's patched BSR once you are on this ROM.

MIUI is a great Chinese rom that is then translated by the folk over at MIUI.us. I then take what was built for the Atrix and port it over to our phone. However, the 2.8.10 is the last build that will be made for the Atrix, therefore this is probably going to be the most stable build we have from here on out. I am still going to port MIUI, however it may take me longer and will be less stable. College is starting and I will have less time, but I am going to do what I can. http://media.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Included in this are some init.d Scripts that run automatically at boot! Here is a rundown of what each of them do:
91Remount: Remounts System, Cache and Data using better mount flags to reduce Latency and make sure it only writes when it needs to.
92SDCard: Increases default read/write value of the SD Card to 2048 from 128
93WifiDrop: The system will turn off WiFi (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1802469#) after 15 minutes of inactivity (WiFi Drains less battery, so 15 minutes is acceptable) This changes that value from 15 minutes to 1 minute. The only issue is that now Android will have to reconnect to WiFi more, but the fact that it's so fast to reconnect will make this unnoticeable. This will allow the system to go into Deep Sleep faster (assuming there's nothing pinging the WiFi). Note: Due to the way MIUI is set-up, this will only work if you freeze CloudServices.apk, XiaomiApplicationFramework.apk and MIUI.usForums.apk as those ping constantly causing WiFi to never drop.
94Vacuum: Cleans all SQLite Databases on Boot.
95ZipAlign: ZipAligns all apks found on the system.
96sysctl: Throws in some sysctl tweaks defined in /system/etc/sysctl.conf

Bluesleep Fix: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/94438244/bluesleepfix.zip

What is the Bluesleep fix?
The Bluesleep fix was a bug in (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1802469#) the system that prevented it from going into Deep Sleep. Simply flash (No need to wipe anything) and your phone will be able to Deep Sleep again. Credit goes to Th3Bill for this fix.
NOTE:You may need to move the init.d scripts to get back into BSR!!!

Here are some tweaks to make your MIUI experience better on the Droid X2:

Supercharge!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=991276/ (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276/)
To supercharge your MIUI, you must first run the StarterKit. It will NOT update the SU binary, as MIUI has made it so there is no more SuperUser.apk. IT WILL STILL WORK!! It must first install the needed tools and busybox. Then you may run the standard script. This makes MIUI 100% smoother IMO. If you are going to supercharge and use a different home app, make sure to copy that home app into /system/app FIRST as the supercharge script won't see it otherwise.

SDCard Speed Increase
This is a simple app that increases your SD Card speed that is throttled at 128kb. This sets it to 2048kb and will help with the Music. This app is by Diego Stamigni.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rease.it&hl=en (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sdincrease.it&hl=en)

Freeze Some Apps
Not all of you (probably 90% of you don't) have a Xioami account. Therefore, the XiaomiServiceFramework.apk can be frozen to gain about 5-10MB of RAM. Anything else you freeze won't have an impact. I recommend doing this using Root Browser Lite.

Turn off Advanced Transitions and Rounded Corners
Rounded Corners and the App transitions eat away precious CPU Memory. To turn them off, go into Settings->Developer Options->Show Rounded Corners (Off) and Settings->Developer Options->Window animation scale to Animation off as well as Settings->Developer Options->Transition animation scale to Animation off.

Looking for a great theme?
My personal favorite is called Blue ICelciuS 3.3 by Whiteboy997. It is a mixture of the stock MIUI and ICS. Only issue is you have to manually set all Status Bar colors in the Toolbox. The Blueish Hex color for ICS is #38c0f4.
Theme Mirror: http://archivos.miui.es/miuithemes/themes/v4-themes/01/BlueICSCelisus1.3.mtz
Place on SD Card and install via the Theme app.

Update for August 9th

No release, however I have been hard at work on this ROM. I have created a script that, in theory, should make this ROM super-buttery-smooth. If any of you would like to try this script, please PM me.

PLEASE NOTE: This Script is still in the alpha stages and it changes a good amount of things around. However I am asking for testers. I am NOT going to brick your phone (promise), however everyone uses their phone differently, and it'd be nice to see if there actually is improvement or if it's just a placebo effect.

Once this script is tested enough, it will be released to everyone and hopefully our device will have a selection of buttery smooth Roms.

Lol it would appear not. That's ok, my feelings aren't hurt too bad as I am not the creator of this Rom or any of the other for that matter. It's here if anyone needs it, and it is confirmed working so that is enough for me.

On a side note anyway you could change the title to reflect the new 2.8.3 beta 2.1?

Update August 11, 2012

MIUI has released a new version with some more optimizations. New build will be up before the weekend is out.

Also, the script I've mentioned before is about 90% complete. However, it gives some severe incompatibilities with the SuperCharger. My solution: Combine the two to make a completely new script. This runs into an issue however....

I'm sure all of you are aware that in order to access our BSR on ICS, you must first unsupercharge. This is due to the modified services.jar. If I were to include the modded MinFree values, it would block out all access to the BSR due to the modded services.jar. My Solution: I am currently working on an app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1802469&page=6#) that will:
1. Make sure the script is running.
2. Allow modifications to the script.
3. Allow you to switch between the modified and stock services.jar.
4. Allow you to disable the script entirely.

I'm hoping to have an early build of this app out by the end of the weekend with the first and third options implemented. I will provide two builds of MIUI, one as the stock and one with the awesome tweaks. Eventually, the awesome tweaks will become the main build of MIUI. I'm also hoping that these scripts will be used in other Roms as well for a butter-smooth ROM with better battery life.

I hope you all enjoy my work soon!!!

Bump for updated OP with newer version.

Here is what Twitish posted about the new release.

Bump for new(old) release. Better late than never!

Sorry I've been absent. A lot of things have happened in these past few weeks (College started, broke 2 ribs, Girlfriend left the state for College, normal stuff :P ).

Also, the Atrix 4G is no longer receiving updates for their MIUI on ICS, everything is moving onto Jelly Bean. Therefore, I will have to start porting these builds myself. This may take longer and so far I've gotten 2.8.24 to boot and run, but have a lot of Force Closes. Once I've gotten the process down more, there will be better and more stable builds. As such, I am dubbing this as the "Last True Stable Build."

In this build I've included some awesome init.d scripts, read OP for more info!! Also, read the newest Changelog for the newest features I've enabled!

OP Updated with Bluesleep fix. Here is what Twitish had to say about the update:

The Bluesleep fix is here!!!
Bluesleep is an error in the Bluetooth System that will make the device keep the bluetooth adapter on (Even if you have it disabled). This creates a wakelock as the system doesn't really know why bluetooth was turned in the first place.
NOTE: This is the easiest way I can explain it.

Anyways, this should enhance battery life because the system can finally go into Deep Sleep.
Simply flash over your current build in the BSR.
NOTE:You may have to temporarily move the init.d scripts from /etc/init.d to get into BSR. ONLY move the ones starting with 91 and up. I am currently working on another bug fix, and once I've squashed it I will update the actual MIUI zip.

Props to Th3Bill for his Bluesleep fix!!!!

Does this ROM still crash during rotation when using the Browser? That is the main reason I went away from it bac several months ago.

Thanks,

Yea, No Love for the Droid X2 anymore, we seem to be an after thought.
I really like the X2 though, just wish the jelly bean would have been a last ditch add on for it......Too bad for us.
Thanks Cliff
