I recently SBF'd to .604 and rooted with Zergrush. For some reason I can't send MMS messages and my pictures don't show up on my SD card. They show up in my gallery, but not on my SD card. Maybe my SBF didn't go right?

Sbf doesn't touch your sd card. How are you trying to look at your pics? Through the computer?

I'm trying to look at them through both my computer and Root Explorer. I'm 101% sure I put my phone in "memory card access" mode when I try to get to them through my computer.

Are you using a custom ROM or are you still on .604?

Can you see the "dcim" folder?

As far as the MMS problem, try *228 option 1 and see if it works.

Turns out they were in there! Thanks! I'll try the *228 when I get out of class.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but my MMS problem still remains. I called *228 and tried options 1 (program/activate phone) and 2 (update roaming capabilities) and that didn't fix it. I might try SBFing to .621 and see if that fixes it.

Check your apns. Depending on your carrier, it may just be those settings. As far as the pictures, clear the root browser's cache. If you use a 3rd party messaging app, look for a folder with the app name. In the case of go sms pro, it saves to /sdcard/GoSMS/Download

Have you flashed the .621 kernel to your phone or are you still on .604?

I have Verizon. Would SBFing to .621 change my apn settings? Or could I just download the apn app that I used when I was on ICS ROMs and program it from there? .621 has the .15p radio, correct? I flashed the .15p radio before I made the mistake of using a .621 based ROM (I forget which one it was. It was supposedly a modified version of .621) and I want to keep the .15p radio.

I'm still on .604, so I guess have the .604 kernel?

Before you SBF try flashing the .621 kernel. Flash it in Clockwork Recovery, cache wipe only. Link is in the first post here

.604 would in fact change the apns and the radio. Do the suggested update to .621 kernel and radio. That may fix the mms issue at least.

Also, just a thought... check for .nomedia files

I used the 1kds Linux live disk to SBF/root .604. I thought it doesn't touch your radio? If I go to about phone in the settings menu it still says I have the .15p radio that I flashed while on Froyo. I can still make calls and send texts and browse the internet with no problems.

Right. That did not affect your radio. But you still need the .621 kernel and device tree flashed. Should fix your MMS problem.

Alrighty, well I'll try that and see if it works. Thanks for the help!

Looks like it worked! I SBF'd to .604 again just so everything would be wiped out and nice an clean, then flashed a modded version of .621 and I can send picture messages like crazy now! Thanks for the help! Has anyone figured out how to break the curse of .621 yet? I searched and couldn't find any recent posts. Is the DX considered completely dead now and no one cares about it and isn't working on solving this problem?
