looking to get rid of some bloatware...anyway to root this phone safely.

Yes, you can root, it theres just a few loop holes to go through...SBf to 604 with 1KDS linux ISO, (root after)..Found here. (http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-sbf/23638-linux-solution-your-windows-rsd-lite-problems.html)..., and grab the .621 files from this post from Goose306 here (http://rootzwiki.com/topic/19318-important-information-regarding-621-system-update/) . Flash in CWM, and enjoy.

Same question here, is is same how to root DX 2.3.4 - .621 same method.

First i don't had a linux pc
Second thing if I doing sbf isit will be released my inject number?

You no longer need to SBF, there is a direct root for .621. http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x-hacks/47718-how-root-4-5-621-magic-md5-does-not-require-milestone-sbf.html

You download the .iso file, burn it to a disc and boot your computer from the disc. Just follow the onscreen instructions from there. Oh and you dont need a linux pc. Once the image is burned to a disc, put it in your drive, restart your computer and either press f8 or f12 (different from computer to computer) to get into the boot menu and select cdrom.

So im not sure if it's my laptop or my skills but I've tried repeatedly both through booting from cd and thumb drive and it will never even get to the boot baby boot...screen. my laptop tries to boot and gets stuck at a blank screen with a flashing cursor...i really want to root my x but im about to give up...please help.
